Flute Alignment Decals (12 sets)

Aligning the head joint perfectly every time can be a real challenge — especially for beginners. These Flute Alignment Decals take the mystery out of head joint placement, saving time and ensuring consistent alignment for every student.

Each set provides enough decals for 12 flutes (24 decals total). Originally developed by Blocki Flute to pair with the Flute Flex Pro®, they’re also available separately — and beloved by teachers worldwide.

As a professional, I’ve used these decals to gradually fine-tune my own alignment for better tone and balance.

Why Alignment Matters

Consistent head joint alignment is critical for beginning students. It saves valuable lesson time, eliminates guesswork, and is especially helpful when teaching groups. No more nail polish dots!

How to Apply

1. Push the head joint completely into the body of the flute
2. Determine the best alignment of the head joint in relation to the body (see videos on balancing the flute)
3. Wipe the area where decals will be applied with alcohol
4. Let dry completely
5. Apply one decal to the body of the flute as shown in the picture
6. Apply the second decal to the head joint by lining up the numbers
