Everyone knows Baby Shark! This PDF uses the melody to explore harmonic fingerings — a highly effective and fun way to improve tone, especially in the high register.
Each of the 12 pages has two different sets of harmonics. A student who has played for a year or has started in multiple octaves will be able to learn the first part of several pages. All pages make excellent warm-ups for players of all levels.
The key to improvement is to identify which harmonics are most difficult for you and concentrate on those. Work through them in bite-sized bits — try or assign a new page each week. Do not attempt the most advanced pages until you are comfortable with the first nine.
Licensing: Purchase one PDF per teacher to share only with current students. School districts with multiple teachers should purchase one PDF per teacher.
