The Mini-Di is our top choice for our youngest flutists.

The added white keys make it easy for children with small hands to finger and hold the flute. Because the flute only plays down to a low "D" and has the curved head joint, it is much smaller and easier for young students to handle.

This is the flute that we use with all my 4 to 6 years old students.

Due to the excellent workmanship and the cut of the embouchure hole, it is quite easy to produce a beautiful tone on the Mini-Di. We often have adults with muscle issues purchase the mini-di because it plays so beautifully and is light weight and easy to balance.

Q: I would like to have the fingering chart most suited to my Mini-Di flute. Can you tell me how to download or obtain this chart?

A: The fingering for the Mini-Di flute is the same as the regular C flute. They only difference is there is no low C or low C# on the Mini-Di flute which makes it shorter and lighter.
